Eight individuals, all with different aims, ideas, and methods, discover each other on a journey across the land of Fodlan. Their backgrounds are disparate - a prince turned tavern dancer and priestess on a pilgrimage across the land among them. Through their travels and trials, they discover that maybe they're not so different after all - and maybe, when they put their heads together, they'll find something lurking beneath the surface that could endanger them all.


Every area of the ocean is ruled by royal bloodlines possessing a Hero's Relic, and have been taken under control by Cornelia one by one. Sylvain and his pirate crew are finding these heirs before it is too late. In place of the Aegis Shield specifically is a merman on the brink of death, Felix, who later decides to join them to retrieve his Relic and missing brother alike.


The Blue Lions organization has been struggling due to past mismanagement, poor coaching, and a loss streak, but all of that changes when Dimitri and his friends finally enter the world of pro gaming via Overwatch and start to turn the tides. They've soon become fan favorites as an underdog team with fun interactions, which means that in order to continue to promote the organization, streaming is practically a must. From their team apartments, follow the Blue Lions' shenanigans and interactions in-game as well! Familiar faces abound.


In the hopes of promoting inter-house unity, a school-wide competition is held where representatives from each house get to go up against each other in a number of challenges. And while Felix has had hints regarding Dimitri's feelings towards him, the first challenge ends up more or less confirming his suspicions. Much as Felix purports to hate this revelation, he very much doesn't, and, as the event continues, he becomes increasingly attached, ultimately having to come to terms with the fact that he still has feelings for Dimitri, too.


Ashe is the newest and youngest cooking instructor the school has ever had, so he can't afford a scandal. So why can't he stop focusing on Byleth, who takes his instructions more seriously than anyone else, or another student whose demeanor stands out from the rest? Tensions rise as personalities clash, and Ashe quickly finds that too many cooks in the kitchen can lead to too many complications in life.

Step by step, Dimitri comes out of his shell to take on adventures within both the game and reality itself.
