In a small town trapped between the shore and the woods, Annette is sent alongside Hapi and Marianne to find and capture a creature which lurks in the woods nearby. Her separation from the group leads to her being taken in by a kindly woods-dwelling woman she's not familiar with, and who she finds herself both attracted to and suspicious of.
